Why we built it
For years, running software from Ethiopia meant sending your data, and your Birr, somewhere else. A server in Frankfurt, an invoice in dollars, and a forex approval before either.
AletCloud runs real cloud infrastructure inside the country. The hardware is ours, operated by us, inside Ethio Telecom's Bole data centre. Your data stays in Ethiopian jurisdiction, your apps are a few milliseconds from the people using them, and you pay in your own currency from a prepaid wallet.
Everything is self-service. There is no sales call and no ticket queue between you and a running server. Sign up, top up, deploy.
